What we do.

Mastertrace — Upstream Case Architecture

Mastertrace is a pre-litigation intelligence and case construction firm operating at the point where most legal matters either succeed or fail — the stage before solicitors are formally instructed.

We work upstream of the legal process, building cases from the ground up so they enter litigation structured, evidenced, and strategically aligned from day one.

What We Do

Tracing: We identify and locate individuals, assets, and corporate structures across jurisdictions.
Our work goes beyond surface-level checks — we establish usable intelligence that supports enforcement, recovery, and legal strategy.

Case Architecture:This is where cases are won.We take fragmented information and construct a coherent, evidence-backed case theory, including:

Chronological reconstruction of events

Identification of evidential gaps and pressure points

Integration of witness material and documentary evidence

Our case architecture elevates the entire structure of the case to the highest level possible, drilling directly into the key issues upon which the case turns.

We do not deal in peripheral detail or unfocused volume.
We isolate what matters — legally and factually — and build the case around it.

Crucially, we go beyond investigation alone. We conduct case analysis by applying established facts to relevant law — including statute and case law — to develop legally grounded arguments before proceedings are issued.

This allows us to: Align evidence with legal causes of action, anticipate defences and points of challenge. Identify strengths, weaknesses, and leverage early. Produce structured material ready for use in pleadings and court proceedings

The result is a case that is not just “investigated” — but engineered for litigation and positioned for success.

Litigation Support: Once the case is properly built, we support its progression into formal legal proceedings.

We work alongside a trusted network of independent professionals, including solicitors and barristers, ensuring continuity between case construction and courtroom execution — without loss of strategic control.

How We Work: Traditional legal models often begin with solicitor instruction and build from there.

We reverse that. Mastertrace is typically engaged before or alongside legal teams, allowing:

Early clarity on case viability

Stronger positioning before costs escalate

Better-informed decisions on funding and legal route

More effective use of solicitors and counsel when they are instructed

Our Role: We are not a replacement for solicitors or barristers. We are the layer that ensures when they are instructed,
the case is already built, legally aligned, and ready to advance.

Positioning: Mastertrace operates at the intersection of:

This upstream model delivers one clear advantage:

Control of the case before it enters the legal system — not after.
